ChurchDesk is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and reporting, driving cross-functional operational efficiencies as we scale, and be the strategic anchor in M&A decisions and execution. The CFO will be a part of the executive leadership team working alongside the Founder CEO and the board.

Responsibilities
Full ownership of ChurchDesk’s financial strategy and operations
Drive ChurchDesk's governance initiatives
Act as a key strategic leader, working closely with the full executive team to align finance strategies with the broader business goals
Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to leadership and the board.
M&A strategy, process and execution anchor.
Legal tasks, including employee contracts and GDPR
Lead and mentor the Finance team.

Job requirements
Ideal Profile Summary
SaaS Finance track record: Tracking and reporting on SaaS metrics, subscription billing principles, cash management and forecasting.
Operational Scaling Expertise: Functional growth efficiency across development, sales and customer success. Scaling experiences from the €5-20M ARR range and 40-50% annual organic growth operation.
M&A Strategy and Execution: Experiences from strategic market mapping. Market, product and organizational synergies. Acquisition financials, legal and funding models. Execution of acquisition processes.
Complementary to existing leadership team: The person is given a seat at the C-level table from the start, with direct access to the board of directors, requiring a great and complementary fit with the Founder and CEO as well as the senior leadership team.
Key Expectations
Finance Leadership: Lead ChurchDesk's financial operations, including finance, cash management, billing operations and payroll across currently 4 legal entities and 2 offices in Copenhagen and Berlin.
M&A Strategy and Execution: Develop an acquisitive strategic framework and co-drive acquisition processes in close cooperation with the Founder and CEO.
Operational Efficiency: Drive integration across functions for operational efficiencies and actionable reporting.
Company and Board Reporting: Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to leadership and board. Focus on SaaS metrics, cash management and strong governance. Annual reporting. Participation and presentation in board meetings.
Building High-Performance Teams: Mentor, develop, recruit and scale a team, fostering a culture of success and innovation.
