Community and Content Manager

Job description

At ChurchDesk we see marketing as a sales-adjacent activity and we want every church in our markets to know about ChurchDesk. We have three specific priorities:

  • Lead generation: Generate qualified leads for our sales team that convert

  • Product Marketing: Clearly communicate benefits to leads and customers

  • Brand awareness: Be known as the trusted choice for churches

You will work alongside our Digital Marketing Manager. You will report to our COO. From the get-go, your top priorities will be creating and hosting a series of community events both online and offline that help build out a strong platform for our community. You will also take leadership on an execute a content marketing strategy where content to a very large degree is built around our event content. Our content will thus be both webinars, blogs, online panels and social media. 

Examples of projects that you will execute and own

  • Community events: User meetings, online panels to establish thought leadership 

  • White papers / Sales Enablement: Content

  • Product marketing: Webinars, customer cases 

  • Events with sales: Work closely with sales to create specific events for prospects in regions

  • Annual development plan to identify mid-term goals and objectives for learning
  • Monthly 1:1 session with your manager

Job requirements

  • To be successful at ChurchDesk you understand the church really well. We expect you to navigate comfortably across church hierarchies and speak with people at every level of the church across denominations like Evangelische Kirche and Katholische Kirche

  • You need to be truly curious and seek to understand our customers in-depth

  • You have experience with and passion for building communities and creating content that is truly valuable

  • You are creative and can think outside the box to deliver results

  • You are a clear thinker that writes and presents ideas well both in English or your native German (plus if you happen to speak Danish)

  • You are structured and a strong individual executer

  • You are comfortable with and have experience using relevant marketing tools
