Digital Marketing Manager
At ChurchDesk we see marketing as a sales-adjacent activity and we want every church in our markets to know about ChurchDesk. We have three specific priorities:
Lead generation: Generate qualified leads for our sales team that convert
Product Marketing: Clearly communicate benefits to leads and customers
Brand awareness: Be known as the trusted choice for churches
You will work alongside our Community & Content Manager to define and hands-on execute marketing efforts that move the needle. You will report to our COO. From the get-go, your top priorities will be generating qualified leads for our sales team and levelling up our product marketing to help sales close deals more effectively.
Examples of projects that you will execute and own
Marketing website: Design and content, traffic, and conversion
White papers / Sales Enablement: Content, design, traffic, and conversion
Product launches & campaigns: Develop product marketing to grow our business
Lead nurturing / marketing automation: Nurture into qualified leads that convert
Paid marketing: Generate qualified leads from paid online performance marketing
Data and marketing insights: Ensure appropriate foundation for decisions and actions

How we support you
- You will be getting ongoing training in product, sales, marketing, and the tools we use
- Annual development plan to identify mid-term goals and objectives for learning
- Monthly 1:1 session with your manager
- We invite will naturally reimburse any book you want to keep learning
To be successful at ChurchDesk you understand the church really well. We expect you to navigate comfortably across church hierarchies and speak with people at every level of the church across denominations like Evangelische Kirche and Katholische Kirche
You need to be truly curious and seek to understand our customers in-depth
You have experience with and passion for digital marketing or growth hacking. Either from relevant professional working experience e.g. from an agency / ecommerce / SaaS or a significant side hustle
You are creative and can think outside the box to deliver results
You are a clear thinker that writes and presents ideas well both in English or your native German
You are analytical, structured in your approach and working with data to support action is second nature for you
You are comfortable with and have experience using relevant marketing tools. We use Webflow, Mixpanel, and Hubspot - you will also work with Adwords, Facebook, etc.
We believe performance should be based on trust and flexibility instead of hours counted. Our roots are Danish and a healthy balance is in our DNA.
We like to work from the office and bring energy to the team. At the same time we try to meet everyone's need for flexibility.
We offer 6 weeks of vacation and recommend everyone to take a 3 week well-earned summer break.
