Product Manager
- On-site
- Copenhagen, Denmark
Job description
At ChurchDesk, we’re a fast-growing SaaS company helping churches work smarter through intuitive digital tools. We’re an ambitious, international team that values collaboration, ownership, and creating real impact together.
We are hiring two Product Managers to build alongside our CPO, Kenneth. We are growing on three fronts: developing new products, sharpening our existing portfolio, and consolidating the fragmented European church management market through M&A.
About your new role
Each Product Manager owns a workstream and is paired with a tech lead who acts as a technical partner. You bring product, customer, and commercial judgement; they bring engineering depth. You ship together.
You work across three areas:
New product development: You take ideas from problem to live product. You build prototypes yourself with AI-native tools (we use Claude Design and Claude Code) to align teams, validate and work with engineering as specification.
Existing portfolio: You take on prioritised improvements across our platform and ship them, often alongside enterprise customers.
M&A integration: We acquired two companies in two years (KaPlan in Germany, Kirkedata in Norway), with another two to four expected over the next 24 months. You own product-side work streams: feature parity, migration paths, and what carries forward.
The day to day is multi-project, fast, and ambiguous, with three or four workstreams in parallel. We serve one of Europe's largest and oldest institutions, and what we ship changes how thousands of parishes operate.
This is a builder role. If you naturally gravitate more toward decks or static deliverables like Figma files than toward building and shipping real products, this may not be the right fit.
Job requirements
Skills & Requirements
2–5 years of experience building and shipping software, products, or businesses. Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate considering top-tier consulting, but have realised that building beats making slides.
A portfolio of things you have built — your product taste should be clearly visible in your work.
Comfort with systemic complexity: you go beyond flashy prototypes and are able to work with real-world challenges such as permissions, data flows, and integrations.
Demonstrated experience with AI-native building tools (e.g. Replit, Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Design, Lovable), with the ability to turn ideas into working prototypes quickly — for example, from idea on Monday to prototype by Wednesday.
You are based in Copenhagen and committed to an in-office setup focused on learning, collaboration, and contribution over comfort.
Open to up to ~20 travel days per year across Germany, Norway, and other markets.
You communicate clearly and confidently in English, and are fluent in at least one additional language such as German, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, French, or Swedish.
Living outside of Copenhagen? We’re happy to consider candidates from elsewhere in Europe too — as long as you’re excited about relocating and becoming part of our in-office team in Copenhagen.
Your preferred way of working
You take initiative and enjoy moving things forward. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and don’t wait for perfect information to start creating momentum.
You have strong business intuition and naturally connect product decisions with business impact — and vice versa.
You’re genuinely curious and like to go deep when needed, knowing that the best solutions come from understanding the full complexity.
You feel confident working with enterprise customers such as dioceses and large parishes, and you’re comfortable navigating and shaping complex conversations.
You follow through on what you start and are committed to seeing things through to completion, even when things get challenging.
What We Offer
Ability to work across three workstreams (new products, existing portfolio, and M&A) with a dedicated tech partner, close CPO access, and direct enterprise exposure — taking real ownership of what gets built and shipped, with visible impact on how the company grows.
A full AI tooling budget. Whatever you need to build at the speed and depth this role demands.
An open, warm and informal work environment with a lean, international team of around 75 people, headquartered in Copenhagen with a Berlin & Oslo office.
Compensation. A fixed monthly salary. Competitive if you are early in your career, deliberately not if you have a long track record behind you. The real return is the trajectory.
Fancy a change of scenery? Come visit us in Berlin or Oslo! We’ll cover all your travel and food expenses so you can work alongside the team and soak up the local German & Norwegian vibe.
30 days of vacation – because rest matters.
A transparent and supportive feedback culture – grow together, learn from each other, and communicate openly.
Unforgettable team experiences – from company events to trips like sailing in Croatia and skiing in Prague.
