Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) - Remote

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. If you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software, enjoy mentoring others, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do

You are a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and driving projects to completion. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our backend architecture, driving best practices, maintaining our infrastructure and mentoring other engineers. You’ll work with reliable tools like Node.js, TypeScript, MySQL, ElasticSearch, and Redis to build scalable and performant solutions. You’ll also contribute to growing our team's capabilities and ensuring our product evolves to meet the needs of our customers.

• 5+ years of experience in software development, software design, architecture, and Node.js and demonstrated successful end-to-end deliveries of new implementations.
• Deep understanding of relational database systems, particularly MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL Datastores such as ElasticSearch, Redis, and MongoDB is a plus.
• Experience building scalable, performant, and modular solutions.
• Reside permanently and currently somewhere in the EU. Alas, we're not set up to hire outside of the EU since we believe that it's imperative that we meet in person once in a while.
• At least one year of remote work experience is required if you plan to work remotely.
