Join ChurchDesk as a Software Tester! Ensure top-quality web & mobile products through manual and automated testing. Work closely with developers, improve QA processes, and make a real impact.

Job description

We are looking for a Software Tester with 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing to join our growing team. If you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in ensuring high-quality software, and enjoy working closely with developers and product teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will do

You’ll also help shape our testing processes, drive continuous improvements in QA practices, and contribute to building a culture of quality across the team.

You will

  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality across web and mobile applications.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand features and edge cases.

Working at ChurchDesk

Our mission is to help churches modernize and stay connected with their communities in a rapidly changing world. As a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, we provide digital tools that enable churches to streamline their operations, communicate more effectively, and engage with their congregations. Over the past 15 years, we’ve grown from a startup into an international business, but there’s still a lot of work ahead. Join us to work on transformative projects, have fun, and develop both yourself and your career.

What we offer

  • An opportunity to make a big impact on a product that serves some of the largest and oldest institutions in the world.

  • A supportive, low-ceremony, and lean-process work environment.

  • 6 weeks of paid vacation + your local public holidays to support your work-life balance.

  • A great social environment with annual company kick-offs, team trips, and friendly challenges like board games.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect management.

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, etc.).

  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and version control (Git).

  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

  • To have at least EU residency and be based in the EU. Alas, we're not set up to hire outside of the EU since we believe that it's imperative that we meet in person once in a while.

  • At least one year of remote work experience if you plan to work remotely.

We are not a religious company, but we work to help churches transform and stay connected with their communities. We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
